Beating Burnout 101

How to Rediscover Your Career Path, Reclaim Your Personal Life and Renew Your Motivation

Sick and tired of feeling burned out? Detached? Unmotivated? Exhausted? Unappreciated? Trapped? Hopeless?

If any of the above describes how you feel–even if it’s just sometimes–I certainly hope you’re interested in banishing that feeling.

Not all that long ago, I felt all of those things.  And I felt them for years.

It seemed like everyone around me felt similarly, and we tried to push those feelings aside by telling ourselves, “It’s called work for a reason,” or “We work hard now, so we can play hard later,” or “I have no other options because I’m up to my medulla oblongata in student loans.”

After a few years, I could no longer rationalize away my misery. I was officially burned out, and something needed to change.

The bummer was that there weren’t a lot of resources out there for attorneys in my position. That’s not the case for you, friend.  I write a fair amount about attorney burnout, and a few of my most useful blog posts are highlighted just for you.
